Leon is responsible for the alliance relationships with financial partners and individual investors, as well as the overall leadership of the firm along with his two partners. He has been active in both the local and national real estate markets for the past 36 years and is known in the industry for being a pioneer and self-starter. Prior to The Trilogy Group, Leon was the principal broker for Novak & Associates, Inc., a full-service real estate brokerage firm he founded in 1973, which specialized in free-standing single-tenant and multi-tenant retail property brokerage. A year later he expanded the business by creating Novak Development Corporation with its primary focus being the development of retail properties. Leon who is actively involved in the community and the industry currently serves on the Board of Counselors for the Carter Center and is on the advisory board of BB&T Bank.

Blass

Founding Member / Managing Partner
David’s primary responsibility is the identification and acquisition of future development sites, quantifying marketable risks and overseeing final project development. He is also responsible for the overall leadership of the firm along with his two partners. David brings nearly 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate business including a strong background in retail leasing.

Prior to The Trilogy Group, in 1993 he founded Blass Properties, Inc. a full service real estate company specializing in redeveloping and re-tenanting distressed shopping centers. During that time he converted more than one million square feet of underperforming retail assets into highly marketable centers. He also served as a preferred developer and real estate consultant for companies such as Rite Aid Drug Stores and the International House of Pancakes. In 1996 he teamed up with his future partners subsequently merging their companies to form The Trilogy Group.

Terry
Sullivan

Founding Member / Managing Partner
Terry is responsible for overseeing the development of the strategic direction for the company as well as providing management oversight for the day to day aspects of the business. Along with his two partners he is also responsible for the overall leadership of the firm. He has spent nearly 30 years in the commercial real estate industry and received numerous awards for his performance as an outstanding producer in Retail Specialty.

Prior to The Trilogy Group, Terry worked for CB Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. for 16 years where he ascended the ranks to become Vice President of Retail Services. His responsibilities included developing market penetration strategies as well as all aspects of site acquisition for major retailers, banks, restaurants and other related uses for shopping centers and/or out parcel locations. He represented both developers and retailers. In 1996, Terry joined Novak Development Corporation as Executive Vice President which was later merged with Blass Properties, Inc. to form The Trilogy Group.

Marla C
Chaliff

Senior Vice President
Marla is Senior Vice President of the Trilogy Group specializing in site selection, land development and market analysis. She has been with the company since its inception and was formerly an Associate Broker of Blass Properties, Inc. She has an extensive background representing national tenants throughout the country with a particular emphasis on national restaurant chains and the banking industry. This includes having been actively involved in banking mergers and acquisitions within the Southeast region.

She serves as a real estate consultant for the International House of Pancakes, Sprint Corporate for Georgia and Del Taco. She was the exclusive broker for Ruby Tuesday's in Georgia. Marla currently works with the Del Taco restaurant chain in the Atlanta market and is also working with numerous IHOP franchisees across the country in land acquisition, market analysis, and site development. She has managed both the site selection process and development for her corporate clients. She has extensive experience in restaurant development, building approximately 70 IHOP's across the country.

Marla also works closely with numerous financial institutions in the Atlanta market. She has represented clients on both the acquisition and sale of banking properties. She has recently been the exclusive broker for the sale of surplus former Wachovia sites. Her list of clients includes Bank of North Georgia, Synovus, Habersham Bank, American Realty Capital, American Financial Realty Trust, and Community Bank of West Georgia.

Chuck
Evans

Director of Brokerage Services
Chuck Evans joined The Trilogy Group in 2004 and was named Director of Brokerage Services in 2008. He is responsible for the growth of the company's brokerage division, development of new business and focuses on providing comprehensive consulting services to meet the specific needs of his clients.

Specializing in site selection, land development and market analysis, Chuck represents regional and national retail tenants through helping to develop and implement strategic growth initiatives in the Southeast and, on occasion, Nationally. For some clients he acts as an outsourced real estate department providing a full range of services from market analysis and reporting to making board room presentations. His clients list includes such retailers as JCPenney, Dick's Sporting Goods, Trader Joe's, Sears and Ashley Furniture HomeStores.

Prior to joining The Trilogy Group, Chuck was a Vice President with The Staubach Company for nine years, where he represented major retail brands such as Disney Regional Entertainment, Brinker and Target.

David
Shanahan

Development Partner
As the Development Partner for The Trilogy Group, David oversees the management of critical functions key to the success of the overall business including due diligence, design, permitting, construction and tenant coordination. During his 27 plus years in real estate he has owned his own business for 10 years – Shanahan Development where he provided consulting and development services for a number of major clients in the northeast. He worked for the Lincoln Property Company in Boston and for Home Depot as the North East Real Estate Manager. He was also the Vice President of Development for Dewberry Capital.

David brings to the group a tremendous amount of experience in development. He has worked on projects ranging from high-rise complexes and downtown office buildings to power centers in excess of 500,000 square feet. During his tenure at Home Depot he was responsible for developing over 40 locations throughout the Northeast. He was also involved in the development of 18 Circuit City sites. He prides himself in the level of services the firm handles internally and the broad range of experience they are able to provide to clients.

Shelley Jordan
Bell

Vice President
As an Associate Broker with The Trilogy Group, Shelley specializes in tenant representation, leasing and land brokerage. She has over 12 years experience in commercial real estate including work in markets throughout Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and Florida. She has worked with several national and regional retailers and restaurants on their expansion strategies including AC Moore Arts & Crafts, Ashley Furniture, Best Buy, Five Guys, Golf Galaxy, HUE studio, OfficeMax, Petsmart, Sears Roebuck and Co., and Wild Wing Cafe. She assists clients with strategic planning, market analysis, site selection, LOI negotiation, preparation of corporate committee materials, and lease/sale negotiation. Shelley also works with commercial real estate owners and developers assisting them with land brokerage, site plan/building layout, tenant mix strategy, project marketing, retail leasing, LOI and lease negotiations, tenant coordination, and outparcel sales/leasing.

Shelley was a Top Ten Retail Producer in Atlanta in 2008. 2009, and 2011. Her current list of clients includes ULTA Salon Cosmetics & Fragrance, Michaels Arts & Crafts, JCPenney, Dick's Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, and West Marine.

Steven is an Associate Broker for The Trilogy Group responsible for site selection and market analysis. He also represents land owners and landlords in marketing their sites, negotiating sale and lease contracts, as well as working directly with tenants on strategic growth initiatives. Prior to joining The Trilogy Group he worked as and Investment Sales Associate at Colliers Spectrum Cauble Realty in Atlanta, where he facilitated the sale and disposition of over $200 million in retail property in the southeast. He represented several publicly traded REITS along with nationally recognized developers and owners of shopping centers.

He has spent more than a decade in the commercial real estate business. Prior to becoming member of the Trilogy Group team he worked on site selection and development for Rite Aid Drug Pharmacies.

Vice President
Henry is an Associate Broker for The Trilogy Group responsible for marketing retail properties and listings of land and income properties as well providing site selection services for Legacy Academy. He has more than 25 years experience as a commercial real estate agent, specializing in the brokerage and development of retail properties. He has sold over $150 million dollars of undeveloped land and $20 million dollars of retail income properties. Before joining Novak Development Corporation which later merged with Blass Properties, Inc. to become The Trilogy Group, he was the Vice President of Scott Hudgens Companies. He was in charge of marketing the peripheral land surrounding the 10 regional malls the company developed in Georgia. He continued those responsibilities as a Vice President for Wheeler/Kolb Management Companies under a management fee and commission agreement.
